Welcome and thanks for stopping by :)
Today marks the start of our latest fortnightly challenge over on the Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! Facebook Group.
Our latest challenge #AWLSU041 is a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge, where you create a project using the 3 inspiration words in any row (horizontal or vertical) or diagonal.
Myself and the other group admins will share our creations to start off each challenge and hopefully help kick-start and inspire your creativity.
If you live in Australia and are interested in participating in our fortnightly challenges, click here to join the group :)
My project was inspired by a couple of other creative challenges: Layout was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #406 and Just Add Ink's Just Add "H" Challenge #478 - where I have incorporated "Happy" into my project.

I have made a gorgeous set of Birthday cards using the Bird Ballard Designer Series Paper and my cards kind of fit in with 2 rows: Die Cut / Floral / Leaf and Layers / Floral / Modern.
To start, I cut out a rectangle window (using the Stitched Rectangle Dies) on the front of my Old Olive card base. I then layered my piece of Designer Series Paper (which is bigger than my rectangle window), glueing it on the inside of the card.
Using a window on the card front enables you to appreciate both sides of this lovely patterned paper (see below).
Next I stamped some flowers and leaves (from the Free As A Bird stamp set) using Memento Black ink on to some Whisper White cardstock. These I coloured using my Stampin' Blends to match the flowers in the DSP. Once coloured, I fussy cut them out. I also added some subtle sparkle to the flowers using Clear Wink of Stella.
Using the Everyday Label punch, I punched out some labels in Whisper White for my sentiment, which is stamped in Old Olive ink and comes from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.
I then adhered the leaves and flower to my sentiment label and added a piece of Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon at the back. This was then attached to the front of my card using some Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
