Wishing You Well | Just a Note...Note Card Set

I have a super quick and easy single layer note card set to share with you today.   (#simplestamping)

In a short period of time I was able to make 4 sets of 5 different (well slightly different) note cards, which would make the perfect gift for someone who loves to receive handmade gifts or someone who likes to send/give handmade cards to others.

All you need to make a note card sets is:
  • A pack of Note Cards & Envelopes
  • A stamp set (I've used the retiring Wishing You Well Stamp set)
  • Your favourite inks
  • A Stamparatus (A stamp positioning tool - makes repetitive stamping a breeze)
  • Optional extra: Clear embossing powder, Versamark ink & embossing tools

For my set of cards I decided to use the 2018-2020 In Colors for my colour palette, however as there are 20 Note Cards and Envelopes in a pack and I thought a set of 5 cards would be a better gift than a set of only 4 cards so I decided to add in my new favourite purple Gorgeous Grape to make my 5th card in the set.

Using my Stamparatus I lined up the stamp with the bunch of stems on 1 plate and the "just a note..." sentiment on the other. Then I inked up the stamps using Call Me Clover and stamped the images on each of my 20 note cards.

Next I lined up the flower stamp on 1 Stamparatus plate and the bow stamp on the other. I then proceeded to stamp these images on my note cards, I stamped 4 in each of the following colours: Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove, Lovely Lipstick, Blueberry Bushell & Gorgeous Grape.

Once that was done my note card sets were finished.... however I felt I wanted to add a little something extra, so I grabbed my Versamark ink and inked up the flower stamp (that was still on the Stamparatus plate) and proceeded to stamp Versamark ink right on top of the already stamped flowers. I then added clear embossing powder and heat set the powder. And now I felt the note cards were actually finished. I didn't have a lot of desk space so I heat embossed the cards in batches.

All I need to do now is bundle up my sets of 5 cards along with their 5 envelopes. Not 100% sure how I'll finish off the sets to make them giftable... I could tie them up using some of the In Color Grosgrain Ribbon, or pop them in a cello bag then add the ribbon or create a little box or cardstock folder.... actually I really like the little folder idea :)
