Best Catch Bundle | Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! Challenge #030

Hi and thanks for visiting :)

Today marks the start of our latest fortnightly challenge over on the Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! Facebook Group.

Our latest challenge #AWLSU030 is an Inspirational Photo challenge.

Take what ever inspiration you like from the below photo, it could be the colours or the theme, etc.

Myself and the other group admins will share our creations to start off each challenge and hopefully help kick-start and inspire your creativity.

If you live in Australia and are interested in participating in our fortnightly challenges, click here to join the group :)

I have teamed our photo inspiration challenge with this weeks Fab Friday #163 Sketch Challenge to come up with my creation.

***********************************

I was inspired by the colours in our photo and came up with a colour palette of Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Early Espresso & Very Vanilla.

My card base is Very Vanilla Thick cardstock and my layers are Blueberry Bushel and Balmy Blue. The Balmy Blue cardstock was run through my Big Shot using the retiring Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Using a small piece of Sahara Sand, I stamped the fishing hook and sentiment (from the Best Catch Stamp Set) in Early Espresso ink. This was layered with some Blueberry Bushel cardstock.

The fish was also stamped in Early Espresso on Sahara Sand, then cut out using the co-ordinating framelit from the Catch of the Day Thinlits. I added a little colour to the fish using my Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends (I used both light and dark markers), and then adhered it using some Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Before adhering the sentiment panel to my card base I added 3 fish, which were cut out using the larger of the 2 fish dies in the Catch of The Day Thinlits. I used Early Espresso, Sahara Sand and Soft Suede cardstock for my fish and I cut the tail off each one so they would poke out either side of my sentiment panel.

Thanks so much for your support and for visiting me today :)
