Welcome and thank you for joining me in a special Crazy Crafters team blog hop.
We are hopping with a special guest - The very creative Jenny Hall from the United States.
The theme of this blog hop was to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of Jenny's cards.
Here is the card of Jenny's that I chose to CASE:
The colour combination for my card was inspired by the latest Color Throwdown Challenge #515
*************************************
This was a super simple and quick card to make and still has a masculine feel like Jenny's. I resisted the urge to add some bling, as I wanted to keep it looking clean and simple...and masculine.
The tall leaf/stem images come from the First Frost stamp set and were stamped (by eye) using Pear Pizzazz ink. The sentiment, also from the First Frost stamp set, is stamped in Crumb Cake and was cut out using the label die from the co-ordinating Frosted Bouquet dies. To make the label smaller, so it suited my smaller sentiment, I just moved the die vertically after cutting the full sized shape. I did the same with the layered Crumb Cake label underneath.
I cut out 2 sprigs using the die from the Frosted Bouquet framelits set, one in Pear Pizzazz and the other in Crumb Cake. The sprigs were attached to the back of my sentiment piece and the whole lot was then adhered to my card front using some Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
And ...... voila! A quick and easy Masculine CAS card. Hope you like it :)
