Floral Birthday | Stampin' Blends & Petal Passion DSP Part 2

Last week I shared my Admin inspiration for the latest Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! Facebook Group fortnightly challenge #AWLSU011. You can check out my cards by clicking here.

Well, I had 2 more pieces of this gorgeous Designer Series Paper left over from my original 3 cards and I just had to turn them into cards as well.

What do you think?

I love them.... they are so different than my previous cards due to the simple layout and a lot more white framing the coloured flowers. With just a little touch of shine from the Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon.

To guide my colour palette for each card, I was inspired by the most predominant colours used to colour the flowers in each piece of DSP.

The above card uses Night of Navy for the card base and Bermuda Bay for the Birthday sentiment.

My second card (below) uses Real Red for the card base and Old Olive for the Birthday sentiment.
