We are hopping with a special guest - The creative Martha Groeger from Cookies, Craft & Co in Germany.
The theme of this blog hop was to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of Martha's cards.
Here is an image of a couple of Martha's cards, I chose to CASE the Fox card in the centre.
Here is my version:
I have a few goodies from the Occasions Catalogue that I haven't gotten around to using yet, so I was excited to be able to use these before some retire at the end of May.
Along with the new Annual Catalogue we are having a Colour Revamp, and so we are loosing a few of the core colours and gaining a bunch of new ones. One of the colours retiring is Island Indigo, I do like this colour however it has been a while since I've used it, so thought it would be perfect for today's card.
For Martha's cards, she used the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder from the Occasions Catalogue (this embossing folder will be carrying over to the new Annual Catalogue). I don't have this embossing folder but I do have the Simply Scored Board so I've used that along with the Metric Scoring Plate to create my score lines in a diagonal pattern.
The Bubble Over stamp set and co-ordinating Bottles & Bubbles Framelits from the Occasions Catalogue will also be carrying over to the new Annual Catalogue. If you are after this set, now would be the time to buy the Bubble Over Bundle with discounted pricing (as even though the stamp set and framelits are carrying over, the bundle and it's special pricing are retiring at the end of May).
My sentiment from the Bubble Over stamp set is stamped in Island Indigo ink on a Whisper White die cut label from the Bottles & Bubble framelits. The straw is also cut from Whisper White and the bottle has been die cut from a piece of Vellum.
I cracked open my new pack of Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes from the Occasions Catalogue (sadly these are retiring) and added a couple of clear circles above my bottle and a clear tear drop shape on the bottle.
The bottle has been adhered to my card front using mini dimensionals, over the top of some Whisper White twine that has been wrapped around my Island Indigo layer.

DeleteWow! I LOVE your card, Kirsten. I've never been a fan of the Bubble Over set but you may have changed that - your use of the vellum and epoxy shapes is inspired and the simple colour scheme and layout is perfection!
