Welcome and thank you for joining me in a special Crazy Crafters team blog hop.
We are hopping with a special guest - The amazing and inspiring Meg Loven from the United States. Meg has been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2002 and has been one of the Top Demonstrators within Stampin' Up! just about every year since she joined (an achievement many of us aspire to).
The theme of this blog hop was to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of Meg's cards.
Here is the card of Meg's that I chose to CASE:
I just loved the layout of this card. To checkout Meg's card in more detail click here.
I have taken inspiration from Meg's card layout and used some of my top favourites from the upcoming Occasions Catalogue (catalogue goes live on the 3rd January 2018) - The Magical Day Bundle and the Sunshine & Rainbows Bundle.
Here is my version:
Who doesn't get a smile from a rainbow? I know I can't resist feeling happy when I look at a brightly coloured rainbow.... AND there's a unicorn too!
Both these bundles were on the top of my must have list for the upcoming Occasions Catalogue.
I've used colours from the "Brights" collection with some Whisper White & Soft Sky added in.
The card base and sentiment (from the Sunshine & Rainbows stamp set) use Bermuda Bay and the background is Soft Sky.
My rainbow is made up of Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Pacific Point & Rich Razzleberry and uses the Rainbow Builder framelits. I coloured the same rainbow onto my unicorn (from the Magical Day stamp set) using my Stampin' Write Markers.
The cloud die cut (from the Rainbow Builder framelits) and the unicorn, which was cut out using the co-ordinating framelit from the Magic Mates set (NO fussy cutting required YAY!), are raised up using some mini dimensionals.
Thanks so much for your support and for visiting me today :)
