Two Little Monsters | Father's Day

It was Father's Day here in Australia on Sunday and of course I had to make an adorable card for my 2 boys to give their Dad.

I pulled out a few retired sets for this one, and I was shocked that this was the first time a couple had been inked up.

Here is my card:

Bermuda Bay is one of my favourite colours so I couldn't help myself when choosing my colour for this card.

The monsters are created using the retired Playful Pals stamp set and coordinating Pyramid Pals Thinlits. I masked off part of the elephant trunk when stamping the arms and legs. Using my Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write Marker, I coloured in the eye lid and around each eye on the large eye die cuts.

My sentiment on the card front was created using the retired Epic Alphabet for the "Dad" and "you're the best!" comes from the retired Simply Wonderful SAB stamp set.

The Father's Day sentiment on the inside comes from the retired Delightful Dozen stamp set and was coloured in using my Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write Marker.

I created the little monsters sentiment using the current Labeler Alphabet - I love this alphabet set!

So there was more space for my boys to decorate the card, I ended up adhering an extra sheet on the inside front of the card.


I thought this card suited my boys (who are 7 & 5) perfectly. You always love them but some times they are just like little monsters :)
