Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Martha Inchely

Hello Sunshine :)

Welcome and thank you for joining me in a special Crazy Crafters team blog hop.

We are hopping with a special guest - The talented Martha Inchely from Canada.

Martha was chosen as a member of this years Artisan Design Team, how exciting! Something I know that myself and a lot of demonstrators aspire to be (maybe one day .... a girl can dream can't she :) ).

The theme of this blog hop was to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of Martha's cards.

Here is the card of Martha's that I chose to CASE:

Here is my version:

I recently received my A Little Wild bundle, which consists of the A Little Wild stamp set and matching Little Loves framelits, and I just wanted to have a play.

So my take on Martha's card has a bright, happy and cute feel.

My colour combination consists of Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight & Old Olive. There is also a little Pumpkin Pie & Melon Mambo in the colouring of my lion.

My lion is stamped in Memento ink on a piece of Whisper White, which was cut out with a circle die and coloured using alcohol markers. I used my Stampin' Up! retired Blendabilities in Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie & Melon Mambo.

Since the matching framelits are to make cute little tags, I partially cut the lion shape out of the Crumb Cake and had to hand cut the rest out, which was only the top of his mane.

The vine, also from the Little Love framelits was cut out twice using Old Olive cardstock and adhered to my Crumb Cake layer.

My sentiment is made using the Labeler Alphabet stamp set and the Sunshine die from the Sunshine Wishes thinlits.

Using some new mini dimensionals (gee, I love those little things) I lined up my lion with his cut out shape and adhered them together. Then to finish it off I added more mini dimensionals on my Crumb Cake layer and a bit of glue on the back of the lion's circle and adhered it to my card base.

Hope you like it :)
