Welcome and thank you for joining me in a special Crazy Crafters team blog hop.
We are hopping with a special guest - The amazing Tanya Boser. Tanya has been a serious paper crafter since 2005 and joined Stampin' Up! in 2006. This year Tanya fulfilled a dream many of us have and was chosen to be part of the 2017 Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team.
In addition to being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and Artisan Design team member, Tanya works full time as an Emergency Department Nurse. How inspiring!
The theme of this blog hop was to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of Tanya's cards.
Here is the card of Tanya's that I chose to CASE:

My niece's birthday is coming up soon, so I decided to take inspiration from Tanya's gorgeous Mermaid card to make a card for her birthday.
Here is my version:
I have taken inspiration from Tanya's layout and colour scheme to make my card.
My background is Pool Party cardstock embossed with the Woodland embossing folder.
The fairy comes from the Fairy Celebration stamp set and is stamped on Whisper White with Memento ink and coloured using Pool Party, Pink Pirouette, So Saffron & Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Markers, with a touch of sparkle on the wings, using Clear Wink of Stella.
I used the Stitched Shapes framelits to cut out my fairy and a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles framelits cut from Pink Pirouette cardstock as my backing piece.
I didn't have any current Pink Pirouette ribbon, so I improvised and used the little banner framelit from the Popcorn Box thinlits and then cut it in half, which I added to the Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon.
My fairy centre piece has been raised up using some dimensionals.
To finish off and add my sentiment (which comes from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set), I stamped the sentiment in matching Pool Party ink and used the small banner edge piece from the Window Box Thinlits set to create my raised banner.
My card is in the post on its way to my niece, so I am hoping she loves it when it arrives.
