Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Holly Stene

Welcome and thank you for joining me in a special Crazy Crafters team blog hop.

We are hopping with a special guest - a member of the 2017 Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team, the inspiring Holly Stene. Holly has been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 2014, and prior to joining Stampin' Up! she spent 9 years in the Air Force (Wow!)

The theme of this blog hop was to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of Holly's cards.

I chose this gorgeous card of Holly's to CASE

Here is my version:

The colour combination I have used (Whisper White, Pink Pirouette & Sweet Sugarplum) was inspired by the roses from Holly's card.

I cut a rectangle using my square stitched shape framelit and then stamped in Pink Pirouette the floral heart from the Bloomin' Love stamp set in one corner and added the small flower stamp along 2 sides to fill the spaces. This was also stamped along the centre edge of my card base.

I too have used the Sunshine Wishes thinlits for my sentiment and I added the die cut heart over the top of my stamped floral heart. To add a bit of sparkle, I painted the congrats die cut using clear Wink of Stella.

I mounted a smaller piece of Sweet Sugarplum card stock to the back of my stitched rectangle and then to finish off, adhered them to my card front using dimensionals.

A relatively easy card to put together. Hope you like it.

Thanks so much for your support and for visiting me today :)
