Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop. This month we will be sharing projects inspired by the New 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. The full line up below will guide you through all the projects and we'd love to hear from you on what your favourite products or stamps are from the new catalogue.
It is hard to choose a favourite, but one set that I decided I must have as soon as I saw it was the Climbing Orchid Bundle (it is a photopolymer stamp set and matching framelits).
I couldn't decide on which colour to use for my card, so I ended up making a set of cards using colours from the Subtles Collection.
Here are my cards:
Blushing Bride
Calypso Coral
Marina Mist
Pear Pizzazz
Pink Pirouette
Soft Sky
So Saffron
Wisteria Wonder
I wanted to create some Clean & Simple cards, so I kept each card to one colour plus Whisper White.
I stamped my orchids (from the Climbing Orchids set) and my sentiment (from the Colourful Seasons set) on to a Whisper White die cut oval which was cut using the largest oval in the Stitched Shapes framelits.
I used the oval to line up where to stamp my Orchid branches so that they poke out each side. These, along with the buds are stamped in the same colour ink.
Using my Whisper White Craft Ink and a Blender Pen, I coloured each of the flower buds to make them stand out.
I added a matching coloured enamel heart to the oval and then attached it to the front of my card using some dimensionals.
To finish off the inside of each card, I stamped a different orchid (than the one used on the front) in the bottom corner.
I can't narrow down my favourite to only one card. I'd love to know which is your favourite card/colour.
Thank you so much for joining us today. We hope you'll join us again next month to see our projects using a crafting technique.
Don't forget to continue the hop all the way around to see what the amazing Ink it! Stamp it! Design Team have come up with.
