Pink Water Lily Hexagonal Gift Box | Stamp Ink Paper #093

Today I am sharing a lovely Pink Water Lily Hexagonal Gift Box I made recently. Hope you like it :)

My project fits in perfectly with this weeks flower themed Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #93.

Here is my project:

Back in December 2016, I created a gorgeous Pink Water Lily Gift Box & Tag for the Crazy Crafters Tutorial Bundle using the Succulent Framelits from the Ocassions Catalogue. The tutorial bundle is available to purchase for $25 AUD and shows detailed steps and photos of how to make my gorgeous Pink Water Lily used in today's project (plus my gift box & tag), along with 20 other amazing projects from the Crazy Crafters Team. For more information visit my Tutorials page, or purchase your copy by clicking here.

My hexagon box was inspired by a box I found on Pinterest by Crafty Caroline Creates. I followed Caroline's tutorial to make the box, however I adjusted a few of the measurements when I made my box as I had some trouble fitting my lid on. I also used the Gift Bag Punch Board to round my flap edges.

Once I track down the scrap of paper I wrote my measurements on, that is somewhere in my currently very messy craft room, I'll share them with you here. That will teach me to not add the details in my sketch book right away.

**EDIT: I found my scrap of paper YAY!! So to be able to create a tutorial for you all, I've made another box, a Soft Sky Dragonfly box which you can check out here, there is a link in there to my post with the box tutorial (or you can view it directly by clicking here).

To add a subtle pattern to my box, I stamped my image from the Falling Flowers stamp set in Pink Pirouette ink on my Pink Pirouette cardstock prior to assembling my base.

My lid is Whisper White with the assembled Pink Water Lily adhered on top to finish off the box.

Thanks so much for your support and for visiting me today :)
