Welcome and thank you for joining me in a special Crazy Crafters team blog hop.
We are hopping with a special guest - Canadian Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Shannon Lane who is a member of the Artisan Design Team again this year. Such an inspiration!
The theme of this blog hop was to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of Shannon's cards.
Here are the cards of Shannon's that I chose to CASE:

Here are my versions:
Flower coloured with Sweet Sugarplum & Peekaboo Peach inks using sponge daubers
Flower coloured with Flirty Flamingo & Peekaboo Peach inks using a blender pen

I am a bit of a Washi Tape collector and always have difficultly in finding ways to use it on my cards. Well, I have used heaps on my cards and I really love how they turned out. I think I'll be using this layout in the future to help reduce my significant washi collection.
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my creations.
If you enjoyed my cards, it would make my day if you left me a comment.
Just scroll to the bottom of my post, leave your comment and you will put a smile on my dial :)
Don't forget to continue the hop all the way around to see what the very creative Crazy Crafters team have come up with.

Deletebeautiful take on this card! love all of them, but I think the softer looking flowers are my absolute fav!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Sarah. I think my faves are the softer ones too :)
DeleteWow! I love the colours in these. Way to use some washi!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Rosalie. I need to make more like these to use up my washi stash :)
DeleteGreat CASE. Those cards are so pretty - great colours and use of washi tape!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Stephanie. The washi was sooo much easier than cutting and adhering DSP :)
DeleteGreat Case Kirsten .. you have been very busy :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Nicole :)
DeleteReally lovely Kirsten- great case!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Petra :)
DeleteSo pretty Kirsten-love these.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Lisa :)
DeleteBeautiful set of cards Kirsten, a great job. Well Done. Ange xx
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Angela :)
DeleteBeautiful cards Kirsten, love the ink splatters and how you accented it with the dsp pattern. :)
ReplyDeleteKirsten, these are simply perfect! I love how you've updated my simple design with current products and made it brand new again. Using the washi for the edges is such a clever way to use one's stash - like you, I tend to hoard instead of use, and this is a brilliant way to add it to a card. Thank you so much for being part of this blog hop - it has been an absolute delight for me! XOXO
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Shannon. I feel the washi worked really well for the edges of the card and was so much easier than cutting and adhering DSP. Plus I got to use heaps of washi :) Will definitely be making more of these. Glad to know I'm not the only washi hoarder out there :) Thanks for the inspiration and for hopping with us.
DeleteKirsten I love your case and the colours you have chosen - might just have to case this again!!! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Leisa. CASE away :)
DeleteAmazing take on Shannon's cards! Wow Kirsten. Love the colour combos and the DSP you have used. Awesome job.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Kylie :)
DeleteStunning CASE Kirsten, love your take on Shannon's project xx
ReplyDeleteLovely cards Kirsten, I like all three or them. I'm a washi tape hoarder too, you've inspired me to use some!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Sandra. Another fellow washi hoarder :) These are a great way to use up some of your stash - I'll definitely be making more.
DeleteLOVE THIS CARD! I love the coloring in both sets & the flower in the middle with the greenery, perfect!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Mel :)
